Ld Icoa 18 Subs and EV EKX15 Tops sent to the moon.
Just another upload due to demand of the LD icoa 18's putting in work. Pretty much at full volume here, they throw so far even outside for such cheap subs. Can't beat them for the money. EV Ekx Tops, powered by a QSC GXD8 Amp (With power limiter set) Safe to say it's a great energy efficient camping sound system to get rowdy with. I have earplugs on standing this close to the tops at that volume. Even at 2:32 It's at an uncomfortable volume at that distance, Without getting ringing in your ears after a few min.

I was wondering for a while where the slow leak was. I thought maybe my rim tape but that was all sweet. Turned out to be a faulty tyre, which was replaced no questions asked by the bike shop. Has anyone else suffered from the same issue?

Have you walked on thorns?
I have the same issue too....
Take it back to place of purchase they'll refund you
Is this a gturbo redwheel am thinking of doing a turbo converion on my fte
Yes it is
@Tom also do a video of just the subs...
Next time I set it up I will.
Hey mate I’m looking at the filters right now, is it the k&n washable air filter? Can get it from Supercheap it says
Oh and I am also going to see if I can find and remove the air intake sound reducer you were talking about on another comment! Cheers
Sure is mate.
@@madrx2 oh I’ve got a snorkel so I wouldn’t have a silencer haha !
@@madrx2 so just with that higher flow air filter in stalled it should get abit more sound going on and more air available for the engine , change it when I go off roading 🤣
I just left the K&N air filter in and ran a snorkel sock on the top of the snorkel when doing dusty 4x4 tracks or in convoy etc . Do you have a stainless or a plastic snorkel. If it's plastic it will still be much quieter than a steel snorkel as it muffles the intake noise better
Vaya mierda
Literalmente
Unfortunately same here !! Installed 5000S TR's in 30c, put 50ml sealant, rotated it every hour for past 2 days every hour - it leaks all 60psi within an hour. Today added 40ml more and rotating it often - the tire leaks air like crazy through it's sidewalls rubber.....I am almost sure that it's faulty batch. Because as a bike mechanic I know that sealant always stops the leaks after day or two, but here it's a different case :/ I'll run tubes inside this tubeless arghhh, not many options left
Take it back to place of purchase. They swapped it out for me and has been fine since. Good luck!!
@@madrx2 unfortunately - ordered from Germany and i live not in EU, so the logistics just doesn't worth it, but yeah - this is interesting case and there was probably a faulty batch, while other 5000S TR's are fine :) Cheers man !
Buy Continental 5000 but DON'T BUY HOOKLESS and as I see you have this 💩 wheels 😂
Oh really that's causing the tires to bubble ? Derrrrrrr. What wheelset do you own?
@@madrx2it does not but hookless are generally a poo lol :D
@@pawelodz8050 I do lots of crit racing, I have never ridden a wheel that accelerates so well. So for me they have been brilliant and I absolutely love them.
Can you do a video of the subs put right next to each other front-centre? Edit: when they're split left and right, you get spots of no bass called cancellation, "coupling" them gives you no cancellation and even coverage of the area.
Next time I bring it out I'll try it out and give the cardioid mode a go too.
@madrx2 that would be amazing. I've heard they compete with QSCs for half the price so im keen to get a pair but nobody else has done "real world" or outdoor videos like you
@@ultra727 For the distance of our little fire pit we had there, even set up like this (which may not be ideal) You'd still feel the bass kick you in your chest. You won't regret buying a pair.
I’m mostly just curious if they fall apart in real world PA use or if they’re good build. I think they seem good enough in terms of no major reports of amps shitting out yet afaik. Anyways, I almost don’t care, the price is so good. I’m gonna get one to try then possibly commit to 5 more. The value, convenience and f3 tuning this product seems to offer makes it rival the diy approach imo. If it holds up
I can't speak for that as I'd have them turned up a few hours a month. I haven't heard anything negative about reliability but would be worth reaching out to some DJs that use them at this volume for hours a week at least.
Gday for some reason when I floor it abit too much in my 2013 it comes up with (engine power reduced) then cuts out have to put it in park then it starts back up again like nothing happened, any ideas? (2013 holden colorado RG)
Not sure mate. Sounds like it's hitting some sort of boost cut and going into limp mode. Is it stock or modified?
It wasn’t a major controversy. If it was the US they’d probably have challenged you to be the one to back up.
There was a Zero chance of me backing up regardless of country.
Fair enough, hope a lesson was learned.
I wish we Americans had that type of attitude towards others... maybe because we so multi national groups we hate on each other idk 🤷♂️
Please, we need some mor videos, the only video on youtube where you really get to hear the setup in real life
I'll throw a few more up for you victor

thanks alot, im considering the ekx 15 powered version to go with my 4 icoa subs!!!@@madrx2
@@victorparishus4716 The EKX are great. Can't wait to see a video of the setup when you finish it. Sounds like it's going to be epic.
Why can't people reverse straight?
Have you ever reversed backwards? Even professional drivers have a hard time doing it.
It's clearly not just the UK where people think traffic lights, speed limits and other rules are 'optional' in road works.
Gold, well played boys.
Running a red light on a 1 lane road takes a certain kind of special
60ml of sealant is recommended for road, make sure to shake the bottle before, and go direct into tyre rather than syringe applicator. GP's have always been good for me
At least he was good at reversing.
I had this once - going though on green witha queue of cars. But we had to follow a cyclist (narrow and could not pass) - obviously too slow for the automatic lights - so, half way through we met another queue of cars comimng the other way. It took the workers ages to sort it all out as there were long queues from both directions.
People make mistakes. They learn. No need to assume they're just being jerks. Well done!
lmao gotta love Aussies
Did they confirm it was red for them? I couldn’t hear. Cause it’s not that unusual for temporary lights to be set wrongly, especially in a stretch this long.
Yes it was red for them , he said he didn't see the light 😂
@@madrx2 If he didn’t see it, how did he know it was red?
He obviously saw it, it was pretty hard to miss a bright red light in a 40kmh zone on an overcast day
@RobManser77 Because my end was green lol. The timing of the lights is correct
One good thing this Camry driver is learning how to back up straight.
The traffic lights could have easily been sequenced incorrectly. The oncoming vehicle may have had a green light.
It was sequenced correctly as it was working flawlessly all morning.
smelly
If you cannot handle them properly because you're an idiot of course the manufacturer is at fault. What a joke this vid is ... thumbs down.
Aussies make everything funny even mundane inconveniences haha.
"No worries, mate" <-- this why I love the Aussies
The real awkward part is who came up with a one way road both ways directed by a light? That might be the dumbest configuration I have ever seen.
It's used in place of a flagman at temporary construction sites.
Very common in Australia with roadworks when the work crews aren't on site . Eg weekends or holidays
Imagine if the lights changed again and he was backing up as 3 more cars were coming through
Ahahaha that'd be the best. Glad I wasn't in a hurry that day 😀
He who has the biggest front grill wins!!
Aussie kindness 🇦🇺👏
Australia?
Melbourne Australia. Thanks for watching. Appreciate it 👍
Nice one - colour-blind driver.
Australia’s are so chill, they are awesome. Hello from Scotland 👍
Not a good signal design. There should be at least 2 signalheads for redundancy, with the second one over the lane.
They should've gotten you to set it up 😁
You cannot always assume guilt. Sometimes the roadworkers set the light synch wrong.
I used it 10 times in the last few days before this video was filmed. He was guilty 😂
Ohhh so that’s how traffic lights work
Now that’s karma ❤
LC? Sounds like a beast.
Thanks mate appreciate it. It's a old 100 series I've slowly restored if you're interested here's an unlisted vid of it . ua-cam.com/video/2eejECSIrKM/v-deo.htmlsi=pR2RfgdnCooVSmIq

@@madrx2 Impressive, she's beautiful. I wish turbo diesels in this format were more popular in the US.
@@User5_ Thanks so much. I think the v8's are popular there, it's a shame the diesels weren't really sold there I think.
Nice
I started with 5000 TLs in 28 and moved to the 5000S TR's in 30c and they've been flawless! I was on the TLs all through COVID and racked up ~9000km on them. Did have a pothole take a chunk out of the sidewall around the 3k mark that required a boot on the inside to repair, but they ran perfectly since and only upgraded to the S TRs because it was basically the same weight for a bigger size (and more comfort). I only have one year on them, but I can't fault them on our terrible Wallonie Belgium roads, cobbles and also a few gravel jaunts in the forest. I purchased March '23. I run about 57psi/3.9bar in the rear and 54psi/3.7bar in the front. Absolutely sublime ride, Fast and smooth!
Thank you for your report 😮
whats the song?

Correct and the second one at the end is "Afraid of heights" @@boner2008
By the time he gets out of the way he'll have the green light.
Camry Karma.
wow, such a miss-leading video title. first of all, this is not Continental GP5000, but Continental GP5000 S TR. the difference is huge. then low sealant volume and high pressure.
How is it misleading when they're Gp5000's. STR's are the tubeless variant that I stated in the video. Also I was running more than twice the recommended sealant level that was recommended by both the brands I used.
